How It Works

The mechanism is a combination of chelation / deep cleansing + gradual repair delivery:

  • The surfactants (detergents) in the formula bind to oils, mineral deposits, and product residues on the hair shaft and scalp, helping to lift them away in the rinse. This is the “clarifying” or “detox” action.
  • Because harsh clarifiers can strip desirable lipids or damage hair, the formula buffers this by including nourishing oils, conditioning agents, and the SmartRelease system to mitigate damage and provide reparative benefits.
  • SmartRelease liposomes gradually deliver keratin, arginine, and rosehip oil into the hair over time (i.e. even after the rinse), helping to rebuild structure, strengthen bonds, reduce breakage, and protect hair fiber from further stress.
  • The presence of antioxidants (e.g. from guava extract) helps to fight oxidative stress from environmental pollutants, UV, etc.

Thus the shampoo both cleans deeply and attempts to compensate for what might be lost or stressed during that cleaning, aiming not to leave hair feeling stripped but rather prepared for further treatment steps.
